Dr. Benjamin Chiu
Dr. Benjamin Chiu earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with Honours at the University of Toronto. During his training, he participated in multiple and diverse externships in Canada and the USA to expand his scope of practice to include esthetic restorations, root canal therapy, gum therapy, crowns, bridges, dentures, and extractions. Dr. Chiu is a firm believer in giving back to the community and has volunteered his time in underserved communities for emergency dental care and in northern Ontario for patients without access to regular dental care.
Dr. Chiu enjoys getting to know his patients, to identify their individual dental needs, and to provide personalized and custom-tailored treatment options. Dr. Chiu treats his patients with empathy and care. Before any procedure, he addresses his patient’s concerns and provides comprehensive dental care with the focus of preventing oral disease and improving the long term oral health of his patients.
Dr. Chiu is an active member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Ontario Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Toronto Crown and Bridge Study Club. He has also completed the National Board Dental Examinations with licensure to practice in the United States.
